Hilary Farnum-Fasth Reflects on Three Decades of Regatta Bay and Destin Real Estate

A shared history, a lasting belief in Regatta Bay, and a new home ready for its next owner.

Farnum-Fasth’s return to Regatta Bay reflects a decades-long belief in thoughtful development, lasting communities and the evolution of Destin real estate.

DESTIN, FL, UNITED STATES, September 3, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Nearly three decades after the early chapters of her real estate career first connected her with developer Peter Bos and Regatta Bay, Hilary Farnum-Fasth is returning to the Destin community with a renewed appreciation for the vision that helped shape it.

Now the Founder of Corcoran Reverie and one of Northwest Florida’s most established real estate leaders, Farnum-Fasth is representing a new residence in Regatta Bay, bringing her career full circle in a community she has watched grow and evolve for nearly 30 years.

“This is a very meaningful return for me,” said Farnum-Fasth. “Peter was part of an important chapter early in my career, and Regatta Bay helped shape the way I came to think about thoughtful development, community and long-term value. Nearly 30 years later, I still believe in what this community represents.”

Bos has long been associated with development in Northwest Florida, including Regatta Bay, one of Destin’s established residential and golf communities. For Farnum-Fasth, working alongside Bos early in her career provided firsthand exposure to the decisions and vision that go into creating communities designed to endure beyond a single market cycle.

“Hilary and I go back nearly three decades to the early years of her career, when she was just beginning to realize that real estate extends far beyond the sale of a home,” said Bos. “Regatta Bay gave her a front-row seat to how environment and lifestyle align to create a lasting sense of place. A home is defined by the natural surroundings and the community that greets you long before you step through the front door. Hilary instinctively understands that. She knows our buyer, and more importantly, she knows how to articulate the full story of Regatta Bay, from the home itself to the extraordinary lifestyle waiting for you outside your front door.

That perspective has remained with Farnum-Fasth throughout a career spanning residential real estate, new construction, development and some of the Emerald Coast’s most recognized communities.

“Great real estate is rarely just about the home itself,” Farnum-Fasth said. “It is about the environment around it, the experience of living there and whether the original vision continues to hold value over time. Regatta Bay is a strong example of that.”

Since Farnum-Fasth first became familiar with the community, Destin and the broader Northwest Florida real estate market have changed considerably. The region has evolved into a nationally recognized destination for primary residences, second homes and investment properties, while buyer expectations and development trends have continued to shift.

Through that evolution, Regatta Bay has maintained many of the qualities Farnum-Fasth believes made it compelling from the beginning: privacy, natural surroundings, established amenities, access to golf and boating, and a central position within Destin.

At the same time, the community has continued to evolve. Farnum-Fasth’s return centers on 4562 Leeward Lane, a newly completed residence within Tradewinds, a newer enclave of Regatta Bay influenced by West Indies and Dutch-Caribbean architecture. With more than 3,700 square feet of living space and an emphasis on indoor-outdoor living, the home represents a newer architectural chapter within a community whose identity has been established over decades.

For Farnum-Fasth, that balance between longevity and evolution is part of Regatta Bay’s continued relevance.

“There is something important about longevity in real estate,” she said. “New communities will always be part of a growing market, but established communities have the advantage of time. You can see how the vision has matured, how people use the community and what continues to resonate with buyers.”

Her return to Regatta Bay also marks a professional reconnection with Bos, whose work helped influence an early chapter in her career.

“Peter understood early on that successful development is about creating more than a collection of properties,” Farnum-Fasth said. “It is about creating a sense of place. That was an important lesson for me then, and it is something I have carried throughout my career.”

Today, Farnum-Fasth brings a different perspective to Regatta Bay than she did nearly 30 years ago. She has spent decades watching Northwest Florida grow, advising buyers and sellers through changing markets and representing properties throughout Destin, 30A, Panama City Beach and Panama City. That history gives her a long view of what has changed along the Emerald Coast and, equally important, what has endured.

“There are very few opportunities in a career where you can return to a place that was part of your beginning and see it with decades of experience behind you,” Farnum-Fasth said. “I have watched Destin grow, watched Northwest Florida evolve and watched Regatta Bay mature. To come back now and still have the same confidence in the community is incredibly rewarding.”

The residence at 4562 Leeward Lane will be represented by Farnum-Fasth and Corcoran Reverie, the Corcoran-affiliated brokerage she founded to serve clients throughout Northwest Florida and Middle Tennessee. For Farnum-Fasth, the opportunity is about more than a single property. It represents the intersection of history, experience and continued belief in one of Destin’s established communities.

“Real estate gives you a front-row seat to the evolution of a place,” she said. “After nearly 30 years, I am fortunate to have seen so much of that evolution firsthand. Regatta Bay is part of that story for me, and I am excited to be part of its next chapter.”
